Job Description :

We are looking for a hands-on Generative AI Engineer to develop intelligent software applications powered by large language models. This role is suited to a software developer who can combine Python programming, prompt design, API integration, and retrieval-based techniques to build practical AI-driven features.

You will contribute to the development of applications that use LLMs to understand user requests, retrieve relevant information, invoke tools, and complete multi-step tasks.

What You Will Work On :

- Build Python-based applications that incorporate Generative AI capabilities and LLM-powered functionality.

- Integrate commercial and enterprise LLM services into software products using their APIs.

- Develop prompt templates and refine prompting strategies to improve response relevance and consistency.

- Implement RAG pipelines that connect language models with external knowledge sources.

- Create AI agents that use function calling and tools to perform defined tasks across multiple steps.

- Integrate AI components with REST APIs, backend services, and microservice-based applications.

- Use suitable agent development frameworks to implement application workflows and manage interactions with LLMs.

- Test AI-generated responses, evaluate application behavior, and improve output quality.

- Apply observability, guardrails, and responsible AI practices to support dependable application behavior.

- Follow established software development practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Skills We Are Looking For :

- 3 - 6 years of software development experience.

- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python.

- Practical experience developing applications powered by Generative AI and large language models.

- Familiarity with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or equivalent LLM services.

- Understanding of prompt engineering, function calling, and tool integration.

- Experience implementing RAG workflows and working with vector databases.

- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent technologies.

- Understanding of AI agent architectures and multi-step task execution.

- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, observability, AI guardrails, and responsible AI principles.

- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing.

- BE, B.Tech, or MCA qualification.
