About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Google Workspace Migration Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in enterprise-level Google Workspace migration projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in migrating organizations from legacy collaboration and messaging platforms such as Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP, or other email systems to Google Workspace.

This role specifically focuses on Google Workspace migrations and administration. Candidates with only GCP/Google Cloud infrastructure migration experience will not be considered relevant for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end Google Workspace migration projects including Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, and Shared Drives.

- Conduct migration assessments, environment discovery, planning, and readiness analysis.

- Configure and manage migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate (GWM), CloudM, GWMME, or equivalent solutions.

- Execute pilot, staged, batch, and cutover migrations with minimal business disruption.

- Migrate data from Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP, OneDrive, and SharePoint environments to Google Workspace.

- Configure and manage Google Workspace Admin Console including Users, Organizational Units, Groups, Roles, and Security Policies.

- Implement identity and security integrations including SSO, SAML, OAuth, 2-Step Verification, SPF, DKIM & DMARC.

- Work with directory synchronization tools such as GCDS, Azure AD Connect, or Active Directory integrations.

- Troubleshoot migration-related issues and provide post-migration hypercare support.

- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and client IT teams for seamless project delivery.

- Prepare migration documentation, reports, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Google Workspace Administration and Migration Projects.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace Migrate (GWM), CloudM, GWMME, and GAM Tool.

- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online/On-Prem, IMAP-based migrations, OneDrive & SharePoint migrations.

- Expertise in Google Workspace Admin Console management.

- Experience with identity management and authentication technologies including SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Directory Sync.

- Strong knowledge of email security standards : SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

- Experience handling large-scale enterprise migrations (500+ users).

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in client-facing environments.

Good to Have :

- Google Workspace Certifications

- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or GAM scripting

- Knowledge of Google Vault, DLP Policies, and Compliance Management

- Experience working in global migration projects.

This role is specifically for Google Workspace Migration & Administration professionals. Experience limited to GCP infrastructure migration, cloud deployment, or cloud-native application migration will not be considered relevant.
