Job Description :

What You'll Do :

- Serve as the subject matter expert for Google Looker, driving adoption and best practices across teams.

- Design, develop, and optimize Looker dashboards, ensuring performance, usability, and alignment with business needs.

- Build and maintain LookML models, ensuring scalable and maintainable data structures.

- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to integrate data sources and ensure seamless data flow into Looker.

- Provide guidance on visualization standards, user experience, and dashboard performance tuning.

- Support stakeholders in leveraging Looker for self-service analytics and decision-making.

- Stay current with new Looker features and releases, evaluating their applicability and impact.

- Participate in Agile delivery cycles, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 5+ years of experience in BI and analytics, with specific expertise in Google Looker

Talents Needed for Success :

- Proven experience with LookML, dashboard development, and performance optimization in Looker

- Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, and data integration

- Ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations and data stories

- Familiarity with SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)

- Experience driving BI adoption, training users, and promoting data literacy

- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and Agile delivery practices

- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams

- Proactive in staying ahead of BI trends and evolving analytics capabilities
