Role & responsibilities :

Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design, architect, and implement scalable cloud solutions that align with customer business and technical requirements. The role involves leading cloud transformation initiatives, conducting cloud assessments, developing architecture designs, and providing technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement cloud architectures based on Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework principles.

- Lead customer engagements, architecture workshops, and technical design discussions.

- Perform cloud assessments, migration planning, and modernization initiatives.

- Develop solution architecture documents, technical designs, and cost estimates.

- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate cloud solutions.

- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, sales, and customer teams to deliver cloud projects.

- Provide technical guidance on cloud best practices, security, scalability, and governance.

- Support pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and proposal development.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Expertise in cloud architecture, migration, and modernization strategies.

- Knowledge of networking, security, infrastructure, and cloud-native services.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in customer-facing and pre-sales engagements is preferred.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 14+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e., having an architectural sense for ensuring security, performance, availability, reliability, etc.), including requirements gathering.

- Deep understanding of Google GCP cloud platform, including core services, architecture patterns, Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework principles. Understanding of other clouds such as Microsoft Azure is a benefit.

- 10+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects).

- Experience in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proof of concept and proposal development, is a plus.

- Oversight experience on major transformation projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams.
