About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Golang Developer to join our clients engineering team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Golang, along with expertise in BigQuery and REST API development.

In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing efficient APIs, and integrating data processing workflows.

Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality, performant backend services in a cloud-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Golang.

- Build and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.

- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices in software engineering.

- Collaborate with team members to review code, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Database & Data Integration :

- Work with Google BigQuery to develop and optimize queries for analytics and reporting.

- Integrate backend services with data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.

- Ensure secure and efficient data handling and storage practices.

Collaboration & Deployment :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management to ensure smooth delivery.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation where required.

Optimization & Maintenance :

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications.

- Monitor systems for scalability, reliability, and efficiency improvements.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Golang with hands-on experience building scalable backend systems.

- Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Experience working with Google BigQuery for data querying and analytics.

- Understanding of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL) and data structures.

- Experience with cloud-based environments (GCP preferred).

- Familiarity with Git, version control, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

- Basic understanding of Docker or containerized application deployment (added advantage).
