GoDigit - Junior AI Engineer - GenAI & Automation

About the Role :

We are hiring Junior AI Engineer (Freshers & Early Career Professionals) to build real-world AI solutions across Digit.

This is a hands-on builder role, where you will design, develop, and deploy AI systems using GenAI, LLMs, and automation to solve business problems across claims, underwriting, fraud detection, and customer experience.

Who Can Apply :

- M.Tech (CS/IT) - Mandatory

- Freshers (0 yrs) OR 1-2 years of experience in AI/ML

- Strong interest in AI, machine learning, and automation

Key Responsibilities :

Build AI Solutions :

- Develop AI/ML models and GenAI applications using LLMs

- Build RAG pipelines, NLP models, and automation workflows

- Work on real-world use cases across insurance & operations

Coding & Development (Core Focus) :

- Write clean, scalable code using Python and ML frameworks

- Work with HuggingFace, PyTorch, LangChain, APIs, and SQL

- Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows

Experiment & Learn :

- Work on prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model optimisation

- Explore techniques like LoRA / QLoRA, embeddings, vector DBs

- Continuously experiment with new AI approaches and tools

Deployment & Integration :

- Assist in deploying models using basic MLOps practices

- Integrate AI solutions with internal systems via APIs and data pipelines

Drive Business Impact :

- Understand business problems and convert them into AI use cases

- Deliver measurable impact like: Process automation, TAT reduction, Efficiency improvement

Collaboration :

- Work closely with senior engineers, product, and business teams

- Present solutions and demos to stakeholders in a simple manner
