Job Description :

We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Google Cloud Platform. The candidate will be responsible for developing advanced analytics solutions, building AI/ML models, and supporting conversational AI initiatives using GCP-native technologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

Data Science & Machine Learning :

- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, neural networks, and other commonly used supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.

- Expertise in data wrangling, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development.

- Experience in experimentation frameworks and A/B testing methodologies.

- Ability to build, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for business applications.

- Experience with data visualization and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Programming :

- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.

- Experience developing scalable data science solutions and analytical workflows.

NLP & Conversational AI :

- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

- Hands-on experience developing conversational AI solutions and chatbots.

- Understanding of language models and conversational workflows.

- Experience with LangChain and ADK frameworks.

Google Cloud Platform (Mandatory) :

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with GCP services, including : Vertex AI, Google BigQuery, Vertex AI Notebooks, Vertex AI Workbench, Google Cloud Dataflow, Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google Cloud AutoML, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Google Cloud Natural Language API, and Google AI Platform.

DevOps & Deployment :

- Exposure to GitOps practices for model deployment and lifecycle management.

Additional Platform Exposure :

- Experience working with CCAI (Customer Engagement Suite) and Conversational AI implementations on Google Cloud.

Must-Have Skills :

Core Platform Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Dialogflow CX and CX Agent Studio.

Conversational AI Development :

- Strong understanding of NLU concepts, including : Intents, Entities, Parameters, Context management, and State management across conversational flows.

Backend Development :

- Proficiency in Python for building webhooks and implementing server-side business logic.

- Experience developing and deploying Google Cloud Functions.

API Integration :

- Experience designing, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of JSON-based data exchange and API-driven integrations.

Prompt Engineering :

- Ability to design, refine, and optimize prompts and system instructions.

- Understanding of grounding techniques, response control, safety considerations, and conversational behavior management.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with vector search technologies and embedding-based retrieval systems.

- Familiarity with vector databases and Datastores.

- Understanding of Contact Center AI (CCAI) architecture.

- Experience integrating conversational platforms with telephony providers such as Genesys, Avaya, or Twilio.

- Basic understanding of frontend integrations for embedding conversational agents into web or mobile applications.

- Experience using BigQuery to analyze conversation logs, user interactions, and agent performance metrics.

- Exposure to multilingual conversational AI solutions and localization frameworks.
