Role Overview :

As an L3 Network & Network Security Engineer / Team Lead, you will serve as the final point of escalation for critical network infrastructure and security incidents. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and securing complex network architectures while providing technical leadership to a team of engineers. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional IT teams and external stakeholders to ensure that network performance meets stringent business requirements. Your work will directly influence the stability, scalability, and security posture of the company's enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy scalable network solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices to ensure high availability.

- Resolve complex L3-level network and security incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and maintain system integrity.

- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and overseeing the execution of infrastructure projects.

- Manage and configure enterprise-grade firewalls and security appliances to protect internal and client data against evolving cyber threats.

- Optimize routing and switching protocols, specifically BGP, to enhance traffic flow and network efficiency across distributed environments.

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Network Management Systems to monitor performance metrics and proactively identify potential bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust network designs, ensuring all solutions are compliant with security standards.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing complex network architectures, with a deep understanding of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

- Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot enterprise-grade firewalls and network security solutions to maintain a hardened security posture.

- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve high-impact network outages, coupled with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience in leading technical teams, including the ability to delegate tasks, manage project timelines, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

- Proficiency in utilizing Network Management Systems to perform capacity planning and performance tuning for large-scale IT infrastructures.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by relevant industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, maintaining high standards of documentation and operational discipline while collaborating with teams based in the Delhi NCR region.
