About the Role :
We are looking for a forward-thinking Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist to drive visibility and discoverability across AI-powered search platforms. This role sits at the intersection of AI, content, search, and growth, helping shape how our content is surfaced, ranked, and consumed by Large Language Models (LLMs) and answer engines.
The ideal candidate understands the evolution from traditional SEO to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and is passionate about optimizing content and data for AI-driven search experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and optimize AI-first content and data pipelines to improve visibility across LLM-powered platforms.
- Design and execute Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve AI search discoverability.
- Optimize prompts, retrieval structures, semantic search frameworks, and ranking signals for AI systems.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and content teams to create AI-consumable and discoverable content.
- Structure and optimize metadata, schema, embeddings, and content for ingestion into AI and RAG-based systems.
- Improve content visibility across AI search engines, answer engines, and conversational AI platforms.
- Implement AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies for direct-answer discovery and search experiences.
- Analyze AI-generated search results and continuously refine optimization strategies.
- Monitor AI search performance metrics and user query patterns to improve ranking and discoverability.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AI search, LLM optimization, semantic search, and content discovery.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, Technical SEO, Search Optimization, or Digital Growth.
- At least 1+ year of hands-on experience in GEO, AI Search Optimization, AEO, Semantic Search, or related AI-driven search domains.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and the transition toward AI-powered search ecosystems.
- Experience optimizing content, metadata, structured data, and search visibility strategies.
- Exposure to AI/LLM platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, semantic retrieval, or RAG-based architectures.
- Understanding of content structuring techniques including schema markup, metadata optimization, knowledge representation, and contextual content design.
- Ability to analyze user search behavior, query intent, and content performance to improve AI discoverability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with AI content tools, LLM APIs, AI analytics platforms, or search intelligence tools.
- Exposure to Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, Product-Led Growth, or Content Strategy.
- Understanding of AI evaluation metrics, retrieval quality, ranking signals, and relevance optimization.
- Experience working with SaaS, FinTech, Consumer Tech, Digital-first companies, or marketing agencies.
- Familiarity with semantic search, knowledge graphs, vector search, and AI content ecosystems.
Education :
- MBA in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related discipline.
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Science, or related fields.
