GenAI / AI-ML Consultant - Life Sciences

As discussed, we are hiring an experienced GenAI / AI-ML Consultant to work on strategic AI and digital transformation initiatives for global Life Sciences and Pharma clients.

Locations: Bangalore | Gurgaon | Pune

Role Overview:

The role combines AI/GenAI expertise with Life Sciences/Pharma domain knowledge. You will work on complex business problems and design data-driven solutions using GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI, Machine Learning and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI and AI/ML solutions for Life Sciences use cases.

- Work with Pharma, Clinical, RWE, EMR, R&D and Commercial datasets.

- Analyze large datasets and develop data-driven recommendations for clients.

- Work with Python, SQL and other data/AI technologies.

- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science and Business Intelligence teams.

- Apply AI and analytics to business transformation and process optimization initiatives.

- Engage with clients, understand business requirements and communicate recommendations and insights.

- Contribute to consulting engagements, proposals, research, methodologies and thought leadership.

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in GenAI, RAG and Agentic AI.

- Strong knowledge of AI/ML, NLP and LLMs.

- Proficiency in Python and SQL.

- 4+ years of experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare projects.

- Experience with Life Sciences datasets such as Clinical, RWE, EMR, R&D or Commercial data.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with IQVIA, Komodo, RAVE, Truven or Optum.

- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

- Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or Spotfire.

- Spark / PySpark / Databricks / R.

- Statistical modelling, predictive modelling, segmentation, hypothesis testing and time-series analysis.

- Design thinking, business process optimization and stakeholder management.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative discipline.
