Role Overview :

As a Gen AI Application Engineer based in Bangalore, you will be at the forefront of transforming complex business challenges into scalable, intelligent solutions. You will spend your day architecting and deploying cutting-edge LLM-powered applications, working closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between experimental research and production-grade software.

Your work will directly influence user experience by building robust, context-aware systems that redefine how our customers interact with data, ultimately driving significant efficiency and innovation across our digital product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end Generative AI pipelines using Python to deliver high-performance features that solve specific user pain points.

- Develop and optimize RAG architectures to ensure accurate, real-time information retrieval for complex enterprise queries.

- Integrate Vector Databases to manage high-dimensional data, ensuring seamless scalability and low-latency performance for end-users.

- Build and maintain production-ready APIs using FastAPI to facilitate reliable communication between AI models and front-end interfaces.

- Execute rigorous testing and evaluation protocols for LLM outputs to maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and reliability for our clients.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine Machine Learning workflows, ensuring that models are not only accurate but also maintainable and cost-effective.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying Generative AI and LLM-based applications within a production environment, backed by 3 - 7 years of relevant professional experience.

- Strong proficiency in Python development, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and building high-concurrency services using FastAPI.

- Proven ability to manage and query Vector Databases effectively, ensuring optimal indexing and retrieval performance for large-scale datasets.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

- A proactive mindset toward continuous learning and the ability to adapt quickly to the rapidly evolving AI landscape in a dynamic, hybrid work environment in Bangalore.

- A solid foundation in software engineering principles and Machine Learning fundamentals, typically supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
