Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with expertise in Java, PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, and Data Engineering to build and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing data pipelines, data transformation frameworks, cloud-native solutions, and data visualization/UI integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Build robust ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.

- Develop and optimize data solutions using Java and PostgreSQL.

- Design and manage data warehouses using Google BigQuery.

- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.

- Develop reusable frameworks and automation for data processing workflows.

- Integrate data platforms with reporting, analytics, and UI applications.

- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, scalability, and reliability.

- Understanding of data governance and security practices.

- Experience integrating data services with frontend/UI applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, or Dataproc.

- Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures.

- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools.

- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices in cloud environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
