The Role :

Client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with heavy front-end experience and a great sense of product to join our Platform team - the backbone of Spector. This team owns the core systems that model equipment and asset information, and builds the interface through which every customer experiences our product. You'll spend the majority of your time crafting the user experience, while staying comfortable enough on the backend to shape the APIs and data models that power it.

What you'll do :

- Lead the design and development of intuitive, high-performance interfaces that turn complex reliability data into clear, actionable insights for customers.

- Bring strong product judgment to the table.

- Own the frontend of the Platform team end to end, while contributing to backend APIs and data models representing industrial assets and equipment.

- Collaborate closely with design and product to iterate quickly without sacrificing quality.

- Weigh technical tradeoffs, review code, and uphold high engineering standards.

What we need:

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, with 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- Heavy, hands-on front-end experience with React and Angular, and a strong eye for product and UX.

- Working proficiency with Python and Node.js on the backend; familiarity with Java is a plus.

- Solid understanding of API design, data modelling, and databases.

- A track record of building and shipping production web applications end to end.

- Strong collaboration and mentorship skills - you work well with internal teams and external partners.

- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable owning a project from concept to implementation.

Tech Stack & Good to have :

- Experience designing platform or core-domain systems that other teams build on.

- Background building data-dense interfaces - dashboards, monitoring tools, or analytics products.

- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.

- Familiarity with industrial, IoT, or time-series/sensor data.

- Experience working on the front end of a user-facing product at a product-based company.

Location and logistics :

Remote for now. A Bengaluru office opens in the next 6 - 10 months and you should be ready to work from it - Bengaluru-based candidates preferred. Short notice periods strongly preferred.
