Role & Responsibilities :

The Full Stack Java Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and governing enterprise-grade Java applications using modern full-stack technologies and cloud-native architectures. The role involves defining scalable application architectures, leading development teams, driving best engineering practices, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across enterprise platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Application Architecture :

- Design and architect enterprise-scale full-stack Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.

- Define scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Drive modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native solutions.

- Establish architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.

Full Stack Development :

- Lead the development of robust backend services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

- Design responsive and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.

- Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

- Optimize application performance and user experience.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Architect and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.

- Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Blob Storage, Compute, and Networking services.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Containerize applications using Docker and support automated deployments.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Implement unit testing using JUnit and promote test-driven development (TDD) practices.

- Drive automation testing using Playwright.

- Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration.

- Support performance testing and application reliability initiatives.

Database Design & Integration :

- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.

- Develop efficient data models for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

- Optimize queries and ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

- Integrate enterprise applications with multiple data sources.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.

- Mentor developers and conduct architecture and code reviews.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Solution Architects.

- Support technical estimations, solution design discussions, and delivery planning.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Java 8+ and Enterprise Java development.

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, and JSP.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services including AKS, Blob Storage, Compute, and Networking.

- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

- Proficiency in Docker and containerized application deployment.

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and full-stack web application development.

- Experience with JUnit and Playwright for automated testing.

- Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

- Excellent problem-solving, architectural, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Microservices architecture and API Gateway.

- Exposure to Kubernetes administration and Helm.

- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise security frameworks.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certification.

- Experience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
