Job Summary :

Senior back-end-leaning full-stack engineers focus on core platform services, APIs, and security-critical logic for Project Vulcan. These engineers work primarily with Python and Go, contributing to scalable, secure services and integrations deployed in containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain core platform services and APIs for Project Vulcan.

- Develop back-end and platform components using Python and Go, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.

- Implement security critical logic and support compliance-driven platform capabilities.

- Integrate services with supporting tools and platforms deployed in containerized environments.

- Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to support end-to-end feature delivery.

- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.

- Produce high-quality, testable, and well-documented code aligned with Siemens standards.

- Support peer reviews, shared ownership, and ongoing platform sustainability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5 - 10 years of experience in back-end or platform engineering roles.

- Strong experience with Python and Go in production environments.

- Experience designing and consuming APIs and platform services.

- Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud native delivery models.

- Understanding of secure software design principles.

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
