Full Stack Engineer - Java/PHP

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, PHP, AWS, React.js, and Kotlin, with the ability to build modern cloud-native applications across web and mobile platforms.

You will play a key role in architecting solutions, owning end-to-end feature delivery, mentoring engineers, and ensuring engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and PHP.

- Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js.

- Develop and enhance mobile applications using Kotlin for Android platforms.

- Design RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

- Architect cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and API Gateway.

- Own features from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and post-production monitoring.

- Break down large engineering initiatives into manageable user stories with clear technical requirements.

- Maintain a holistic understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, APIs, databases, and integrations.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and scalability.

- Refactor legacy applications to improve maintainability, performance, and code quality.

- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation.

- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure software quality.

- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot critical issues, and drive root cause analysis.

- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and pair programming.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.

- Drive continuous improvements in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 812 years of experience in Full Stack Software Development.

- Strong expertise in Java with Spring Boot for enterprise application development.

- Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.

- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of Git, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.

- Experience in application performance optimization, monitoring, logging, and debugging.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with GraphQL and API gateway implementation.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.

- Exposure to mobile backend integrations and cloud security best practices.
