Full Stack Developer (React Native + Node.js)

Job Description :

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to join a mission-driven mobility startup focused on transforming urban transportation experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling customer-facing and driver-facing mobile applications, developing robust backend services, and delivering real-time features that enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to create high-performance applications that support seamless ride experiences, real-time tracking, and reliable communication.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain customer and driver mobile applications using React Native.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Develop and integrate real-time functionalities such as ride tracking, location updates, in-app notifications, and messaging.

- Design, optimize, and manage databases to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues across mobile and backend systems.

- Implement best practices for code quality, security, testing, and deployment.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to product and technology decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong experience in React Native mobile application development.

- Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

- Proficiency in developing REST APIs and microservices.

- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

- Understanding of real-time technologies such as WebSockets, Socket.IO, Firebase, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment environments.

- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, or on-demand service platforms.

- Exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of location-based services, mapping APIs, and geospatial data handling.
