Software Requirements :

Required :

- Strong Python development experience, with 7 - 10 years of relevant full-stack or software engineering experience.

- Extensive hands-on engineering experience in asset management or the broader financial services industry.

- Proficiency with FastAPI and/or Django for developing RESTful services.

- Significant experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs.

- Expert knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly ReactJS.

- Significant UX/UI design experience, including the ability to design and implement sophisticated user interfaces using ReactJS.

- Experience delivering scalable and secure technology solutions.

- Proficiency with current, supported versions of Python, ReactJS, FastAPI and/or Django, and associated development tools.

- Experience working effectively across teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong ownership of deliverables, with the ability to work independently and maintain a delivery-focused approach.

Preferred :

- Experience designing full-stack applications for investment, portfolio, trading, risk, reporting, or other financial services workflows.

- Experience with modern ReactJS patterns, reusable components, state management, responsive design, and accessibility.

- Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript development practices.

- Experience with automated testing for Python APIs and ReactJS applications.

- Exposure to cloud-based application deployment, containerization, and continuous integration and delivery.

- Experience working with design systems, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and user research.

- Familiarity with application performance monitoring, logging, and production support practices.

- Relevant certifications or formal training in cloud, software engineering, UX/UI design, or financial technology.

Overall Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI and/or Django, ReactJS, and related technologies.

- Develop secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented RESTful services.

- Translate business and user requirements into technical designs, service interfaces, application components, and intuitive user experiences.

- Create and implement sophisticated, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using ReactJS.

- Apply UX/UI design principles to improve usability, consistency, navigation, and task completion.

- Collaborate with product, business, design, architecture, quality assurance, data, and other technology teams.

- Contribute to solution design, technical estimation, code reviews, testing, release planning, and production support.

- Identify and resolve application defects, performance issues, integration challenges, and usability concerns.

- Apply secure engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle, including appropriate access control, data protection, and secure API design.

- Support scalable technology solutions that meet business, operational, regulatory, and security expectations within financial services environments.

- Take ownership of assigned work, communicate progress and risks, and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.

- Promote sustainable development practices by creating reusable components, optimizing application and infrastructure usage, reducing unnecessary processing, and supporting efficient digital solutions.

- Stay current with relevant full-stack development, UX/UI, security, cloud, and financial services technology practices.
