Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in both Python backend development and React.js frontend engineering to build and scale high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing scalable backend services, developing modern frontend applications, and delivering reliable, production-grade solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working on large-scale distributed systems and real-time applications is highly valued. Prior experience within Uber or familiarity with similar large-scale platform ecosystems is strongly preferred to enable rapid onboarding and accelerated delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.

- Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Develop and support real-time communication systems using WebSockets.

- Ensure high performance, reliability, security, and scalability of backend systems.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching systems, and distributed architectures.

- Drive performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Frontend Development:

- Design and develop high-quality web applications using React.js.

- Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries for scalable development.

- Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and real-time data streams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.

- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.

- Expert-level experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

- Hands-on experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.

- Solid understanding of WebSockets and real-time application development.

- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.

- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability architectures.

- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
