What you will own:

- Experience Layer Engineering: Build and own AI platform interfaces, SDKs, developer tools, playgrounds, and reference applications.

- AI-Native User Experiences: Design modern AI interaction patterns including streaming responses, agent workflows, tool calls, citations, human review, and graceful failure handling.

- Backend Services & Orchestration: Develop APIs, retrieval pipelines, model orchestration, caching, rate limiting, observability, and integration services.

- Quality & Evaluation: Instrument applications with tracing, evaluation frameworks, feedback capture, and quality measurement to continuously improve user outcomes.

- Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with Platform, ML, Product, and Infrastructure teams to establish best practices for AI product development.

- Engineering Excellence: Contribute reusable patterns, documentation, code reviews, and technical standards for AI application development across the organization.

Qualifications:

- 5 - 8 years building and shipping production-grade full stack applications.

- Strong front-end expertise with TypeScript and React.

- Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Golang.

- Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native services.

- Strong product mindset with attention to user experience, latency, reliability, and error handling.

- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including APIs, streaming, RAG, tool usage, agents, or conversational AI.

- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and deliver independently.

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
