About the Role:

A mission-driven mobility startup is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to build and scale innovative mobility solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript, with experience developing high-performance mobile applications and scalable backend services. You will play a key role in delivering real-time features such as ride tracking, notifications, and seamless user experiences for both customers and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing and driver mobile applications using React Native.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Develop and implement real-time functionalities such as:

1. Ride tracking

2. Push notifications

3. Live location updates

4. Event-driven workflows

- Design, optimize, and maintain databases to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best development practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance across mobile and backend systems.

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience in full-stack software development.

- Strong hands-on experience with React Native for mobile application development.

- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.

- Experience building and managing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Knowledge of real-time communication technologies and event-driven architectures.

- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in mobility, logistics, transportation, or location-based applications.

- Knowledge of WebSockets, real-time data streaming, and push notification services.

- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern DevOps practices.

Education:

B.Tech / B.E. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
