Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Principal AI Architect to lead large-scale AI and Generative AI transformation initiatives across the Automotive and Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise AI strategy, oversee end-to-end program delivery, and enable AI adoption across software-defined vehicles, EV battery optimization, ADAS, connected mobility platforms, and customer experience. This leadership role requires a blend of AI expertise, enterprise architecture, program governance, stakeholder management, and deep domain knowledge in automotive technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute enterprise AI and Generative AI strategies across automotive and EV programs.

- Lead end-to-end AI program planning, execution, governance, and business value realization.

- Translate enterprise AI architecture roadmaps into structured implementation plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.

- Establish robust program governance, delivery dashboards, risk management frameworks, and executive reporting.

- Drive AI initiatives across Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), ADAS, connected vehicles, machine vision, sensor analytics, routing optimization, and conversational AI.

- Lead AI-driven EV battery intelligence programs, including :

1. Battery performance modelling

2. State of Charge (SoC) optimization

3. State of Health (SoH) prediction

4. Battery degradation forecasting

5. Energy consumption and range optimization

- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to ensure seamless program execution.

- Drive AI-powered customer experience initiatives across vehicle, digital, mobile, service, and post-sales journeys.

- Define, monitor, and improve customer experience metrics such as NPS, CSAT, and CES using AI-driven insights.

- Serve as the primary interface for executive leadership, including VP and C-suite stakeholders.

- Present program progress, business impact, and AI adoption strategies to senior leadership and executive forums.

- Drive cross-functional collaboration, capability development, and organizational AI adoption.

- Champion Responsible AI practices, data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, AI-assisted SDLC, and intelligent automation.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 18+ years of experience in Automotive, Mobility, or Electric Vehicle industries.

- Proven leadership in delivering enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI transformation programs.

- Strong understanding of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) and Connected Vehicle ecosystems.

2. Machine Vision

3. Sensor Fusion

4. CAN, Radar, LiDAR, Camera, IMU, and V2X data analytics

5. EV battery management systems

6. Deep Learning applications in automotive

9. Cloud, Edge AI, and connected platforms

- Strong experience with enterprise AI architecture and AI program governance.

- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional global teams and drive strategic business outcomes.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading AI transformation programs for global automotive OEMs or mobility organizations.

- Knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-enabled software engineering.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Understanding of Responsible AI frameworks, security, privacy, and AI governance.
