Forward-Deployed Applied AI Engineer (IC) - EzDataMunch - Bangalore

We're hiring a Forward-Deployed Applied AI Engineer to sit at the intersection of our business units and core AI Platform team - embedded in domain teams (CX, NetOps, Tech, Retail) to design, build, and ship production-grade agentic AI directly into business workflows.

What you'll do :

- Build retrieval pipelines and memory architectures that ground agents in real enterprise data

- Integrate agents with internal systems via MCP Tool Gateway (billing, CRM, network inventory, and more)

- Define success metrics, build eval harnesses, and harden guardrails for domain-specific risk

- Run workshops and pair-program with business unit engineers to drive AI adoption

- Feed platform gaps and feature requests back to the core AI Platform team

What you bring :

- 2-3 years in software engineering, with 2+ years building LLM/GenAI systems in production

- 1+ year building agentic (multi-step, tool-using, memory-enabled) systems

- Expert-level Python and hands-on experience with LangGraph, Google ADK, or CrewAI

- Direct experience with GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini APIs, including structured outputs and function calling

- Experience designing RAG pipelines (embeddings, vector stores, hybrid search)

- Background in a regulated industry (telecom, financial services, healthcare) is a plus

- A consultative mindset, strong communication skills, and a bias toward shipping over decks

This is an individual contributor role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, owns problems end to end, and measures success by what's actually running in production - not by what's in a slide deck.
