Firmware Engineer Platform Security Processor (PSP)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer with expertise in Platform Security and Embedded Firmware Development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating platform security features across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Platform Security Processor (PSP) firmware features.

- Implement secure boot flows, firmware authentication, and key management solutions.

- Perform firmware development and validation in simulation, emulation, and silicon environments.

- Collaborate with BIOS, hardware, platform security, and validation teams.

- Debug and resolve firmware security issues.

- Ensure compliance with platform security requirements and standards.

Required Skills :

- Strong C Programming skills.

- Experience in Embedded Firmware Development.

- Knowledge of Cryptography and OpenSSL libraries.

- Understanding of Secure Boot, Root of Trust, TPM/fTPM, and Firmware Authentication.

- Experience in Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon Validation.

- Familiarity with Security Policies and Silicon Security Subsystems.

- Understanding of Key Provisioning and Cryptographic Acceleration.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Threat Modeling.

- Exposure to Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

- CI/CD experience in Firmware Development environments.

- Knowledge of Widevine and Platform Security Frameworks.

Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Cyber Security, or related disciplines.
