Position Overview :

As an Engineering Manager at FatakPay Digital Private Ltd, you will lead the design, development, scalability, and operational excellence of our fintech platforms serving millions of users. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps while driving high-performance, cloud-native, microservices-based systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise across backend systems, frontend technologies, mobile ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architectures, and scalable database design. Experience in insurance/insuretech/fintech domains and handling high-scale production systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, security, and scalability initiatives.

- Architect and optimize systems capable of handling a million-plus user scale.

- Design robust event-driven systems using Kafka and asynchronous task processing frameworks like Celery/Redis.

- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications on AWS or GCP infrastructure.

- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and reliability across systems.

Backend & Database Management :

- Design and maintain scalable backend systems using Python-based technologies.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

- Architect relational and NoSQL databases systems:

- MySQL / PostgreSQL

- MongoDB

- Collaborate on analytical and data-driven systems using BigQuery/Hadoop where applicable.

Frontend & Mobile Oversight :

- Work closely with frontend teams using :

1. React.js

2. Next.js

3. Vue.js

- Collaborate with mobile teams working on:

1. React Native

2. Flutter (added advantage)

3. Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, and mobile platforms.

Cloud & DevOps :

Work closely with DevOps teams on :

- Kubernetes

- Docker

- Infrastructure scaling

- Monitoring & observability

- Ensure cloud security and operational best practices.

Team Management :

Lead and mentor a team of 1015+ engineers, including :

- Backend Developers

- Frontend Developers

- Mobile Developers

- QA/Test Engineers

- DevOps Engineers

- Drive sprint planning, resource allocation, performance management, and hiring.

- Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and innovation.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8 to 10 years of experience in software engineering with leadership responsibilities.

- Proven experience managing engineering teams in high-scale environments.

- Strong understanding of :
