Role Overview :
Fanatics Commerce is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise. We are seeking a Software Engineer III to build, operate, and continuously improve the applications that power our wholesale commerce experience - including product and catalog workflows, cart and checkout, order processing, account management, and internal tools.
This is a full-stack role with end-to-end ownership spanning application development, APIs and integrations, data processing, cloud infrastructure, production support, incident resolution, security remediation, and operational readiness.
Total Experience : 3 - 6 years
What You Will Do :
- Partner with Product, Business Operations, Platform, Security, Data, and Support teams to align on technical decisions and ship reliable solutions.
- Build and enhance wholesale commerce portal capabilities across catalog, cart, checkout, order confirmation, account, and user-experience workflows.
- Design and develop scalable APIs, integrations, and supporting services using Go, Python, Node.js, and React/TypeScript.
- Develop scalable data-processing solutions for product, catalog, account, and order workloads using AWS services (SQS/SNS, EventBridge, Lambda).
- Take end-to-end ownership of ambiguous problems through design, implementation, testing, release, and operational support.
- Troubleshoot production issues using structured logs, metrics, and distributed traces; drive root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes.

- Infrastructure : Terraform, GitHub Actions
Required Qualifications :
- 3 - 6 years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack ownership.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript for web applications, and at least one backend language among Go, Python, or Node.js.
- Production experience on AWS (compute, storage, managed databases, messaging).
- Experience designing scalable APIs, data workflows, and system integrations.
- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, dependency management, and CI/CD security hardening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
