Job Title : Fabric Architect - On-Demand Consultant

Engagement Type : Project-based / As-needed

Availability : Normal business hours IST with flexibility to overlap US hours 7 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM IST when required

Experience : 8-11 Years

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Architect for on-demand delivery support across active client projects. The role primarily operates during normal IST business hours, with occasional overlap into US hours 7 PM - 11 PM IST for client meetings, reviews, or critical deliveries.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Architecture : Design and implement modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric - Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI

- Hands-on Delivery : Develop Fabric Data Pipelines, PySpark notebooks, semantic models, and Direct Lake solutions

- ADF + Fabric : Build new solutions and migrate existing Azure Data Factory workloads to Microsoft Fabric

- Client Collaboration : Participate in design discussions, sprint ceremonies, and technical reviews. Support US client calls between 7 PM - 11 PM IST as needed

- Migration & Modernization : Execute migrations from Synapse, ADF, SQL DW to Fabric with performance and cost optimization

- Governance & Best Practices : Implement Medallion architecture, OneLake governance, CI/CD, and Fabric capacity management

- Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot complex data pipeline and performance issues during delivery

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8-11 years in data engineering/architecture, with 2+ years hands-on Microsoft Fabric

- Core Stack : Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, SQL

- Fabric Expertise : Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics, Data Activator, OneLake security

- Technical Skills : Strong in PySpark, T-SQL, KQL, DAX, Data Modeling

- Delivery Track Record : Delivered 2+ end-to-end Fabric or Azure data platform implementations

- Availability : Primarily IST business hours. Must accommodate US overlap 7 PM - 11 PM IST for critical project needs

Preferred Certifications :

- DP-600 : Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate

- DP-203 : Azure Data Engineer Associate

- On-demand : Engaged based on project requirements. No fixed monthly commitment
