Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer at EY in Bangalore, you will serve as a technical anchor within our data and analytics practice, bridging the gap between complex architectural design and scalable implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and client stakeholders, to build robust data pipelines that power high-impact decision-making. Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable data architectures that support high-volume data ingestion and processing for enterprise-level clients.

- Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows to ensure seamless data integration across disparate systems and cloud platforms.

- Provide technical leadership using Java to build high-performance, maintainable data processing applications.

- Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient, production-ready data engineering solutions.

- Optimize existing data pipelines for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability to improve overall system throughput.

- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of software engineering and data quality across the team.
