About the Role :

The L3 Integration & Customisation Engineer (ICE 3) is a senior individual contributor within Exotel's Professional Services team. You will own end-to-end technical solution design for the most complex customer integrations - custom microservices, CRM/CTI adapters, and advanced omnichannel/IVR flows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write clean, high-performance code for bespoke microservices, custom CRM/CTI integrations, and complex omnichannel/IVR routing node flows.

- Author robust technical solution designs; run direct technical syncs with engineering teams to map API boundaries, authentication protocols, and system prerequisites.

- Own the end-to-end software engineering lifecycle : architecting, development, testing, and deployment.

- Conduct mandatory code reviews and sanity validation for L1/L2 developers to eliminate defects.

- Mentor L1 and L2 execution engineers and drive adoption of GenAI coding tools.

What We're Looking For :

- 5+ years of development experience, with prior work delivering complex, custom enterprise integrations in SaaS, CPaaS, or Contact Centre environments.

- Strong hands-on skill building custom microservices, CRM/CTI adapters, and API/webhook integrations.

- Proficiency in full-stack frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, Node.js) and programming languages (PHP, Go, Python, Java).

- Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (Elastic, Redis, Aerospike).

- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with SDLC protocols.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) :

- Day 30 : Fully ramped on at least one live customer integration; shipping code that passes peer review.

- Day 60 : Owns solution design for a complex integration end-to-end, including direct technical sync with customer engineering teams.

- Day 90 : Established as a go-to reviewer/mentor in the pod; demonstrable GenAI-tool-driven effort reduction.
