AVP GenAI Enterprise Architect

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced AVP GenAI Enterprise Architect to lead the enterprise-wide architecture and technology strategy for Generative AI initiatives. The role will be responsible for defining scalable, secure and business-aligned GenAI architectures and driving the adoption of AI across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Cloud, AI Governance and Digital Transformation, along with the ability to work with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the enterprise GenAI architecture strategy, roadmap and reference architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Lead architecture for enterprise-scale Generative AI, LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, models and frameworks and recommend appropriate enterprise adoption strategies.

- Design scalable and secure AI solutions across Azure, AWS and/or GCP environments.

- Establish architecture standards, design principles, technology patterns and best practices for GenAI adoption.

- Drive integration of GenAI capabilities with existing enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs and business processes.

- Define approaches for LLMOps/MLOps, model lifecycle management, observability, scalability and cost optimization.

- Establish frameworks for AI governance, Responsible AI, security, privacy, compliance and risk management.

- Partner with engineering, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure and business teams to translate business requirements into enterprise-grade AI solutions.

- Provide architectural direction and governance across multiple GenAI programs and transformation initiatives.

- Engage with senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders to communicate AI strategy, investment priorities, risks and opportunities.

- Mentor and guide architects and senior technical teams and build enterprise AI architecture capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15+ years of overall experience in technology, architecture and digital transformation.

- Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture / Solution Architecture / Technology Architecture.

- Proven experience designing and implementing Generative AI / LLM-based enterprise solutions.

- Strong understanding of :

1. LLMs and Foundation Models

2. RAG architectures

3. Agentic AI / AI Agents

4. Vector Databases and Embeddings

5. LLMOps / MLOps

6. AI/ML platforms and APIs

- Strong cloud architecture experience in one or more of Azure, AWS or GCP.

- Experience with technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, LangChain, LlamaIndex or equivalent platforms.

- Strong understanding of API, microservices, distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.

- Experience establishing AI governance, security, Responsible AI and enterprise architecture standards.

- Strong understanding of data architecture and enterprise data platforms.

- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to operate effectively at a senior leadership / CxO stakeholder level.

Preferred Qualifications :

- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.

- Experience in large-scale enterprise digital/AI transformation programs.

- Exposure to AI operating models, AI Centers of Excellence and enterprise AI strategy.

- Experience working with global organizations and distributed technology teams.

- Strong understanding of emerging AI trends and the evolving enterprise GenAI ecosystem.
