Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack / Node.js Developer with 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with a solid understanding of REST APIs, application architecture, and modern development practices.

The candidate should be capable of working independently, taking ownership of features end to end, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern front-end practices.

- Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, indexing, and performance optimization.

- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.

- Use TypeScript and appropriate state management solutions to build maintainable applications.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.

- Work with cloud deployment environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control workflows.

- Take ownership of assigned features from requirement analysis and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4 - 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.

- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

- Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication, authorization, and application architecture.

- Experience with TypeScript, state management, and modern front-end development practices.

- Good knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience with database design, query optimization, and application performance tuning.

- Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.

- Understanding of debugging, testing, code quality, and secure coding practices.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of assigned features.

Good to Have:

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
