Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Engineer / Senior Engineer IMS/CS Core to support, maintain, and optimize Core Network infrastructure across IMS and Circuit Switched (CS) domains. The role involves handling advanced troubleshooting, reactive maintenance, network expansions, configuration management, and service restoration activities to ensure high network availability, reliability, and operational excellence. The candidate will work closely with operations, engineering, and vendor teams to resolve complex network issues and drive continuous improvements across the telecom core network environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IMS and CS Core network elements.

- Execute configuration changes, software upgrades, and hardware expansion activities.

- Support incident management and service restoration for critical network outages.

- Analyze network alarms, events, and performance indicators to identify service-impacting issues.

- Ensure all operational activities comply with approved operational procedures and MSTOP processes.

- Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and recurring issues.

- Monitor network health and proactively identify potential risks impacting service availability.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for issue resolution.

- Support VoLTE, IMS, and legacy voice service continuity across the network.

- Maintain accurate technical documentation, network records, and operational reports.

- Participate in planned maintenance activities and change management processes.

- Provide technical support for network optimization and performance improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to telecom operational standards, SLAs, and compliance requirements.

- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

- Support disaster recovery, redundancy validation, and network resilience activities.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of IMS and VoLTE architecture.

- Expertise in CS Core network operations and troubleshooting.

- Hands-on experience with SIP protocol analysis and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of H.248 protocol.

- Working knowledge of SS7 signaling architecture.

- Experience with ISUP and BICC protocols.

- Strong understanding of SIGTRAN signaling transport.

- Knowledge of INAP, CAP, MAP, SCCP, and TCAP protocols.

- Hands-on experience with Diameter protocol and IMS signaling flows.

- Understanding of voice call setup, routing, and call flow analysis.

- Experience in network fault management and incident handling.

- Knowledge of telecom operational support systems and monitoring tools.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and telecom platforms.

- Experience in change management and maintenance procedures.

- Ability to analyze packet traces and signaling logs for troubleshooting.

Desired Skills :

- Experience supporting multi-vendor telecom core networks.

- Exposure to LTE, VoLTE, and 5G Core integration environments.

- Knowledge of network automation and scripting tools.

- Understanding of telecom security practices and compliance requirements.
