Job Summary :

We are looking for a Lead VMware / Windows Administrator to manage and support enterprise virtualization and Microsoft Windows infrastructure. The role requires deep hands-on administration experience, strong troubleshooting capability and the ability to lead operational activities across server provisioning, virtualization, availability, patching, capacity, access and incident management. The incumbent will work with infrastructure, application, security and vendor teams to ensure stable and secure platform operations, guide complex problem resolution and support upgrades or modernization initiatives. This is a senior role suited to candidates who can combine technical depth with operational ownership and team-level coordination.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead administration and support of VMware virtualization and Windows Server environments.

- Manage provisioning, patching, upgrades, availability, capacity and performance of server infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot complex incidents across VMware, Windows, storage/network dependencies and operating-system services.

- Support Active Directory and related Windows infrastructure components as applicable to server operations.

- Drive operational documentation, change management, RCA, vendor coordination and platform improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 - 15 years of infrastructure administration experience.

- Strong hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization and Windows Server administration.

- Experience with enterprise incident, change, patching, capacity and availability management.

- Strong troubleshooting skills across virtual machines, hosts, operating systems and infrastructure dependencies.

- Ability to lead technical resolution and coordinate multiple infrastructure stakeholders.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Exposure to VMware vSphere/ESXi, clustering/high availability, backup and disaster recovery.

- Experience in banking or other high-availability regulated environments.
