About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced ETL Lead cum Techno-Functional Business Analyst to lead data integration initiatives and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ETL development, data warehousing, SQL, data modeling, and business analysis.

The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, defining data integration solutions, managing ETL implementations, performing data analysis, and ensuring high-quality data delivery across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data mapping documents.

- Conduct requirement workshops and solution discussions with business teams.

- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.

ETL & Data Integration :

- Lead end-to-end ETL development and implementation activities.

- Design and develop scalable data integration solutions.

- Define source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.

- Perform data profiling, data validation, and reconciliation activities.

- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data-related issues.

Data Architecture & Governance :

- Design and review data models.

- Implement data lineage and metadata management practices.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards.

- Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

- Collaborate with architecture teams on enterprise data strategy.

Leadership Responsibilities :

- Lead ETL developers and data analysts.

- Review technical designs and code deliverables.

- Drive project planning, estimations, and delivery.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Required Technical Skills :

SQL & Database Expertise (Mandatory) :

- Advanced SQL development skills.

- Query optimization and performance tuning.

- Complex joins, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexing.

- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

ETL Tools :

- Hands-on experience in one or more :

1. Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

2. Informatica PowerCenter

3. Talend

4. SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

5. DataStage (Preferred)

Data Warehousing :

- Data Warehouse concepts

- Dimensional Modeling

- Fact and Dimension Design

- Star Schema

- Snowflake Schema

- Data Mart Design

Data Modeling Tools :

- Experience with :

1. Erwin Data Modeler

2. PowerDesigner

3. ER Studio (Preferred)

Data Management :

Preferred Skills :

- Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

- Experience working in large-scale data transformation projects.

- Knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Exposure to Big Data ecosystems.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
