Job Description :

We are hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer with strong expertise in PHP backend development to build and scale a high-performance SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL optimization, scalable backend systems, CI/CD, monitoring, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using PHP

- Build reliable and high-performance SaaS platform components

- Optimize MySQL queries, indexes, and database performance

- Improve application monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging capabilities

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions

- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams

- Support production systems and take ownership of reliability and performance

- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and daily deployment practices

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in PHP

- Experience with Laravel or Symfony

- Strong knowledge of MySQL query optimization

- Experience with Redis / caching / worker pools

- Experience with REST APIs / backend services

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines

- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP

- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes

- Strong debugging, monitoring, and production support mindset

- Excellent English communication skills

Good to Have :

- TypeScript / Node.js experience

- Trunk Based Development

- Microservices architecture

- Prometheus / Grafana / ELK / Datadog / Sentry

- SaaS product company experience

- Remote team experience
