- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka/ Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud.

- Proven experience in supporting developer teams in Kafka-based environments.

- Solid understanding of Kafka architecture : topics, partitions, brokers, replication, and consumer groups.

- Experience with Schema Registry and data serialization (Avro, JSON, Protobuf).

- Knowledge of Kafka Connect and connectors.

- Understanding of RBAC, ACLs, and Kafka security mechanisms (SSL/SASL).

- Strong troubleshooting skills across application and platform layers.

- Skilled in Kafka cluster administration, including configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and high availability.

- Experience in planning and executing Kafka version upgrades with minimal downtime and leading cloud migration initiatives.

- Proficient in troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (Shell, Python) along with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Work Hours :

- 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST, weekdays.
