About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and modern web application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across both backend and frontend layers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

- Build robust and reusable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

- Design and implement efficient database schemas, queries, and data access layers.

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.

- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture and technology decisions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across frontend and backend layers.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Develop unit and integration tests and ensure adequate test coverage.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Stay updated with modern Java, React, cloud, and software development practices.

Technical Skills :

Backend :

- Strong hands-on experience with Java.

- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong understanding of Java collections, multithreading, exception handling, and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.

- Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Frontend :

- Strong experience with React.js.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience with React components, hooks, state management, and API integration.

- Understanding of responsive web application development.

- Experience with frontend performance optimization is an advantage.

Database :

- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Experience with database design, query optimization, and transaction management.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an added advantage.

Tools & Engineering Practices :

- Experience with Git and version-control systems.

- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment processes.

- Understanding of Docker and containerized application development is an advantage.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging tools.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 5 - 10 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in both Java backend and React frontend development.

- Proven experience building enterprise-grade web applications.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Exposure to cloud-native application development.

- Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.

- Experience with performance tuning and application scalability.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization.

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications.
