Cybersecurity Engineer - OS, Password & IAM

About the Role :

Enphase Energy is looking for a talented and highly motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join its security team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career engineers with a strong foundation in Operating Systems, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Password/Access Management. The selected candidate will work on security engineering initiatives involving identity, authentication, authorization, access controls, and operating system security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support implementation and maintenance of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.

- Work on user identities, authentication, authorization, roles, permissions, and access controls.

- Support Password Management and secure credential practices.

- Assist in implementing and monitoring Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls.

- Work with Linux and Windows Operating Systems and understand OS-level security concepts.

- Assist with access provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews.

- Identify and address security risks related to user access, authentication, and privileges.

- Support security monitoring, incident investigation, and remediation activities.

- Work with engineering and security teams to implement secure access practices.

- Document security processes, configurations, controls, and technical procedures.

Required Skills :

- Strong fundamentals in Cybersecurity and Information Security.

- Good understanding of Operating Systems, particularly Linux and Windows.

- Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts.

- Understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, roles, and permissions.

- Knowledge of password security, credential management, and authentication mechanisms.

- Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts.

- Basic understanding of security principles such as least privilege, Zero Trust, and defense in depth.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good programming/scripting fundamentals, preferably Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to IAM platforms or technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, OAuth, SAML, or OpenID Connect.

- Familiarity with MFA and authentication protocols.

- Exposure to PAM or password-management solutions.

- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows hardening and OS security.

- Academic or personal projects related to Cybersecurity, IAM, OS Security, or Authentication.

- Cybersecurity certifications or coursework will be an added advantage.

Eligibility :

- B. Tech/B. E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

- Graduates from Tier-1 institutes, including IITs, NITs, BITS, and other premier engineering institutes.

- 80%+ academic performance / CGPA preferred.

- 0 - 1 years of experience, including fresh graduates with strong academic records and relevant cybersecurity projects.

- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
