Role & Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage end-to-end engineering programs from planning and execution through delivery and closure.
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics in collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, QA, Operations, Security, and other teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate multiple engineering teams and ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and release schedules.
- Establish effective program governance, including regular status reviews, dashboards, stakeholder updates, and escalation mechanisms.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive teams toward timely resolution of technical and execution challenges.
- Monitor program KPIs, delivery timelines, quality metrics, and resource requirements.
- Facilitate engineering planning, roadmap discussions, release planning, and prioritization activities.
- Communicate program status, risks, trade-offs, and key decisions clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 8-10 years of overall experience, with significant experience in engineering, technical program management, project management, or software/product development environments.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technology or engineering programs from initiation to successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, engineering processes, and technology platforms.
- Experience working closely with software engineers, engineering managers, product managers, architects, and senior leadership.
- Strong program planning, execution, prioritization, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate complex technical issues into clear business and execution decisions.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to tracking program performance and identifying areas for improvement.
