- Look for startup experience as much as possible in last 15yrs, atleast 10+ in startups.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role combines people leadership, hands-on architectural contribution, stakeholder management, and delivery ownership. The ideal candidate should be comfortable guiding engineering teams, shaping technical solutions, and working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, data teams, and governance teams to deliver scalable AI products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of software, data, ML, and full-stack engineers working on AI transformation initiatives.

- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for AI-powered applications, GenAI solutions, LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, APIs, and enterprise platforms.

- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and other BUs to understand requirements and translate them into technical delivery plans.

- Own engineering execution across design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, cost-efficient, and aligned with enterprise governance and responsible AI standards.

- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, design reviews, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and operational excellence.

- Manage stakeholder communication, delivery risks, dependencies, timelines, and technical trade-offs.

- Support adoption of reusable AI components, engineering accelerators, and agentic development practices across teams.

Required Experience :

- 15+ years of engineering experience, including hands-on experience building enterprise applications or AI/ML-based systems.

- 6+ years of engineering leadership experience, managing or leading high-performing technical teams.

- Proven experience delivering AI, ML, GenAI, LLM, RAG, automation, or data-driven solutions in production.

- Strong background in software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.

- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across product, business, architecture, security, data, and platform teams.

- Prior experience in enterprise, regulated, or large-scale technology environments is preferred.
