The Role :

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented developers in building scalable, cloud-native data and AI products. This role blends strong technical design and coding capability with team delivery leadership. Experience working with Generative AI tools in the SDLC is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and delivery of high-quality software systemsowning design, coding standards, and team productivity.

- Stay hands-on with architecture, code reviews, solution design, and performance tuning.

- Drive adoption of GenAI tools to improve development velocity, testing, and documentation automation.

- Manage sprint planning, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication for client-facing and internal projects.

- Collaborate with Account Lead and Senior Engineers to convert business requirements into technical deliverables.

- Foster a strong engineering culture through mentorship, process improvements, and code quality practices.

- Ensure scalability, security, and robustness in deployed solutions using cloud and microservices based architectures.

Ideal Profile :

- 8+ years of strong software development experience, including at least 2+ years in team or tech leadership roles.

- Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering from a recognized institution (IIT/NIT/IISc preferred).

- Hands-on expertise in Java, Python, Scala, Spring, Microservices, React/Angular, TypeScript.

- Strong experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architecture patterns.

- Exposure to GenAI/LLM tools, prompt engineering, or code-gen AI tools is an added advantage.

- Strong understanding of design patterns, system architecture, performance optimization, and data modelling.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
