Engineering Manager

Job Description :

Role & responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers.

- Drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality software projects on time.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical strategy.

- Oversee Agile execution, project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

- Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, CI/CD, security, and cloud-native development.

- Balance new feature development, platform improvements, technical debt, and operational support.

- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 12+ years of software development experience with 3-5 years in an Engineering Manager role.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and React and/or Angular.

- Experience building and scaling enterprise SaaS applications, APIs, and microservices.

- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native development.

- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.

- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch).

- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.

- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
