Hiring Head of Engineering - Mumbai

Currently looking for an accomplished Head of Engineering for a leadership opportunity with a global technology and digital solutions organization.

We are seeking a hands-on technology leader who can drive engineering strategy, lead large-scale engineering teams, accelerate AI/GenAI adoption, and engage with senior technology stakeholders across global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and scale a large engineering organization of 500+ professionals.

- Drive engineering strategy, technical roadmaps, architecture, and application development.

- Champion the implementation and production deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

- Ensure the development of secure, scalable, high-performance, cloud-native applications.

- Partner with global clients, including US-based CTOs and technology leaders, to translate business challenges into technical solutions.

- Drive engineering excellence, Agile practices, CI/CD, quality, and predictable delivery.

- Identify technical risks, architectural bottlenecks, and opportunities for innovation and growth.

What We're Looking For :

- 12+ years of experience in core technology, application development, and product engineering.

- At least 5+ years in hands-on engineering leadership roles.

- Proven experience leading large engineering organizations across multiple product lines.

- Practical experience implementing AI/ML, LLMs, or Generative AI solutions in production environments.

- Strong experience in enterprise architecture, scalable software systems, and cloud-native application development.

- Demonstrated success in client-facing technical leadership, particularly with international or US-based enterprise clients.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving skills.

- Experience working with global delivery models and flexibility to travel internationally as required.

- Global, with significant US stakeholder interaction

Experience in EdTech, digital learning, K-12, higher education, or workforce technology would be an added advantage. Strong product engineering and technology leadership experience is essential.
