Role Overview :

The Endpoint & Security Operations role at critical function responsible for maintaining the security posture of our organization's endpoints and infrastructure.


This role involves daily monitoring, incident response, and proactive security measures to safeguard our data and systems. You will collaborate closely with the IT infrastructure team, security architects, and incident response teams to ensure a robust and effective security environment.


Your work will directly impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets, protecting us from cyber threats and ensuring business continuity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain the organization's endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and data loss prevention (DLP) tools, to protect against malware and data breaches.

- Monitor security alerts and events, investigate potential security incidents, and implement appropriate remediation measures to minimize impact.

- Configure and maintain network security devices, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), to protect the network perimeter.

- Administer and optimize Zscaler and SD-WAN solutions to ensure secure and efficient network connectivity for remote users and branch offices.

- Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure timely updates and vulnerability remediation across all endpoints and servers.

- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans, to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address security weaknesses in the environment.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement security best practices and ensure alignment with overall security strategy.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, EDR, and DLP systems.

- Proven experience in configuring and maintaining network security devices, such as firewalls and VPNs.

- Hands-on experience with Zscaler and SD-WAN technologies, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of patch management processes and tools, with the ability to implement and manage effective patch deployment strategies.

- In-depth knowledge of security principles, incident response methodologies, and vulnerability management practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess and resolve security incidents.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
