Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer specializing in Linux Device Drivers to design, develop, integrate, and debug device drivers for embedded SoC platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Linux Kernel development, BSP development, board bring-up, hardware-software integration, and debugging embedded systems based on ARM and/or RISC-V architectures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, integrate, and debug Linux device drivers for embedded SoC platforms.
- Develop and maintain drivers for hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, eMMC, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Display, Camera, and Multimedia.
- Analyze and resolve Linux Kernel, device driver, hardware, and system-level issues.
- Support Board Support Package (BSP) development, board bring-up, and platform integration.
- Work with U-Boot, bootloaders, Linux Kernel, and system boot flows.
- Read and analyze board schematics and hardware specifications.
- Debug hardware and software issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, signal analyzers, and other debugging tools.
- Develop and debug software on ARM and/or RISC-V-based platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, software optimization, and quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to Linux Kernel upstreaming and open-source development where applicable.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong experience in Linux device driver development.
- Good understanding of Linux Kernel architecture and development.
- Experience with embedded SoC platforms.
- Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, eMMC, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Display, Camera, and Multimedia.
- Knowledge of BSP development and board bring-up.
- Experience working with U-Boot, bootloaders, and Linux system boot flows.
- Ability to analyze board schematics and hardware specifications.
- Experience with ARM and/or RISC-V-based embedded platforms.
- Strong hardware-software debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using JTAG, logic analyzers, signal analyzers, and similar debugging tools.
- Understanding of Linux Kernel upstreaming and open-source development practices.
