Role Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on experience in AUTOSAR, device driver development, and automotive embedded systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and debugging embedded software components for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and integrate embedded software components based on AUTOSAR architecture.
- Design, develop, and debug device drivers for automotive microcontrollers and peripherals.
- Perform configuration and implementation of DIDs (Data Identifiers) and RIDs (Routine Identifiers).
- Develop and integrate software for automotive communication interfaces and protocols.
- Perform software testing and debugging using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Analyze software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support software integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Participate in software releases and follow defined software quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system, hardware, testing, and validation teams.
- Follow automotive software development processes and coding standards.
Required Skills :
- Good knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ development.
- Experience in Device Driver development.
- Experience in configuration and implementation of DIDs and RIDs.
- Good understanding of automotive embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Communication Protocols : CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, A2B.
- Experience with software debugging using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Understanding of software development, integration, testing, and release processes.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to ASPICE processes and quality standards.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, such as UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).
- Familiarity with automotive software development life cycle and quality processes.
- Experience with configuration and development tools used in AUTOSAR projects.
