Job Title : Sr. Pre-Post Silicon Embedded Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon Validation Enablement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing embedded software, device drivers, and validation frameworks for next-generation SoCs.

This role involves working closely with architecture, RTL, and validation teams to build reusable software components that accelerate silicon bring-up, subsystem validation, and performance characterization across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop embedded C software for SoC bring-up and validation.

- Develop low-level device drivers and reusable software frameworks.

- Work on bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded software development.

- Enable and support pre-silicon (FPGA/Emulation) and post-silicon validation activities.

- Debug and optimize software on FPGA platforms, emulators, and silicon boards.

- Collaborate with Architecture, RTL, Firmware, and Validation teams.

- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.

- Create technical documentation and validation reports.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Embedded C

- Good understanding of Embedded Systems Design

- Experience with device drivers for :

1. UART

2. I2C

3. SPI

4. eMMC

5. USB

6. I2S

- Good knowledge of ARM Architecture

- Experience with Bare-Metal Programming

- Experience in Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon environments

- Familiarity with Git/Gerrit

- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with ZeBu, Palladium, Veloce or other emulation platforms

- FreeRTOS or similar RTOS experience

- Python, TCL, or Bash scripting

- Linux system programming

- ARM boot flows

- Understanding of RTL concepts

- Experience in SoC subsystems such as Camera, Display, GPU, Memory, or Security
