About the Role :

We are looking for experienced Embedded Software Driver Development Engineers to join our team at AMD. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux kernel development, device driver programming, system-level debugging, and embedded software development. This role involves developing, porting, optimizing, and debugging Linux drivers and subsystems for next-generation embedded and high-performance computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel drivers and embedded software components.

- Develop and port device drivers for PCIe, DMA, IOMMU, and other hardware subsystems.

- Perform Linux kernel debugging, bug fixing, and upstream contributions.

- Support board bring-up activities and hardware-software integration.

- Optimize system performance, boot time, and power management features.

- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to enable new platforms.

- Analyze and resolve complex system-level issues using debugging tools.

- Contribute to open-source Linux kernel and related projects.
