Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Project Manager to lead complex embedded product development projects in the defence, telecom, aerospace, and communication domains. The role requires a strong technical foundation in embedded systems along with proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end R&D projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end embedded product development projects from requirements and architecture through development, integration, testing, and delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and technical deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising embedded software, FPGA, hardware, validation, and systems engineers.
- Provide technical direction and support on embedded C/C++, FPGA, ARM, RTOS, Linux, and system-level development.
- Coordinate architecture, integration, debugging, verification, and production-readiness activities.
- Track project milestones, identify technical risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution.
- Collaborate with customers, engineering leadership, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to engineering processes, quality standards, documentation, and delivery commitments.
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems/product development, with significant experience in technical project or engineering leadership.
- Strong hands-on understanding of C/C++, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with FPGA development using Verilog/VHDL, preferably Xilinx FPGA.
- Good understanding of ARM-based embedded systems, SoCs, and peripherals.
- Experience with RTOS such as VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or RTLinux.
- Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, BSP development, and Linux board bring-up.
- Experience with ARM SoC/FPGA platforms and system-level integration.
- Working knowledge of PCIe, BIOS, power management, and low-level system debugging.
- Proven experience managing complex R&D projects and leading technical engineering teams.
Good to Have :
- Experience in DSP, signal processing, radar, telecom, or communication systems.
- Experience in defence/aerospace or other safety- or mission-critical embedded products.
- Exposure to hardware-software co-design and system architecture.
- Experience working with customer-driven product development and regulated engineering environments.
