Job Description :

We are looking for a Data Migration Engineer to manage data migration activities from various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to new EMR platforms or ELLKAY's LKOASIS data archiving solution.

The role involves analysing structured and unstructured data, planning and executing migration activities, ensuring data accuracy through validation and testing, and coordinating with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities :

- Perform migration of structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems to new platforms and data archiving solutions.

- Own assigned EMR data migration projects and ensure adherence to project timelines and delivery commitments.

- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project scope, analyse source data, and develop detailed migration plans.

- Coordinate with internal teams to manage project deliverables and ensure smooth execution.

- Conduct data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve migration-related issues, implementing corrective measures to minimise project impact.

- Manage multiple migration projects simultaneously, prioritising activities to ensure timely delivery.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance migration efficiency and quality.

Requirements :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in data migration, data analysis, or a related field.

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis.

- Understanding of data validation, testing, and data integrity principles.

- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

- Exposure to EMR/EHR systems or healthcare data migration is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
